This M8 threaded rod 2 metre length is hot dip galvanised (HDG) for superior corrosion resistance in external and internal environments. It’s made from Grade 4.8 mild steel, offering strength and durability for heavy-duty fixing, support systems, and structural applications.
⚠️ This item’s thread pattern is only compatible with Hot Dipped Galvanised nuts. It is not suitable for BZP or Stainless Steel ranges.
Because of the HDG coating, the thread tolerance differs slightly from zinc-plated or stainless options. As a result, it ensures a secure fit only when paired with HDG fixings — making it the correct choice for structural and weather-resistant builds.
