Description

M20 Threaded Rod – 1 Metre | 8.8 Grade | Hot Dip Galvanised | DIN 976

This M20 threaded rod hot dip galvanised is manufactured from high tensile 8.8 grade steel for demanding structural applications. With a 1 metre length and full coarse pitch threading, it meets DIN 976 standards and is ideal for internal and external use where strength and corrosion resistance are essential.

Key Features

  • Thread Size: M20 – Metric Coarse Thread
  • Length: 1 Metre (1000mm)
  • Material: Grade 8.8 High Tensile Steel
  • Finish: Hot Dip Galvanised (HDG)
  • Standard: DIN 976 – Fully Threaded
  • Use: Suitable for structural fixings in external or internal settings

Compatibility Notice

Important: Use only with hot dip galvanised nuts. This rod is not compatible with BZP or stainless steel fixings due to thread tolerances on HDG coatings.

Applications

Builders and contractors use this M20 HDG threaded rod in heavy-duty fixings, structural bracing, and industrial steelwork. Its high tensile strength makes it ideal for load-bearing installations, and the hot dipped coating ensures long-lasting corrosion resistance.
