Delivery Terms and Conditions
Delivery Dates: Delivery dates are estimates only. While we strive to meet these dates, we accept no liability for any losses due to delays.
Delivery Arrangements: Delivery arrangements within the UK are at our discretion unless specified by the Buyer.
Risk in Goods: Risk in the goods passes to the Buyer upon off-loading at the destination if we are the carrier, or upon leaving our premises if another carrier is used.
Important Delivery Instructions:
Note: Failure to follow these steps may prevent us from claiming missing goods and issuing replacements or refunds.
Reporting Issues: You must notify us of any discrepancies within 24 hours of receiving your order. Failure to do so may result in your courier claim being voided or rejected.
Non-Delivery Notification: If you have not received your order within 5 days of placing it, you must contact us within this period. Failure to contact us within 5 days may result in missing or damaged items being rejected or voided in the courier claim.
On-site Deliveries: Direct Channel cannot be held accountable for items signed off on building sites that are later reported missing. It is the customer’s responsibility to be present at the time of delivery.

Product Suitability & Warranty: Unless expressly agreed in writing, we do not warrant suitability for specialist uses (including continuous vibration, fatigue, chemical exposure, or thermal cycling). Warranty is limited to manufacturing defects at delivery. Remedies are limited to repair, replacement, or refund at our discretion.
Limitation of Liability: We accept no liability for labour, site or changeover costs, project delays, loss of profit, or consequential damages. Our total liability is capped at the value of the goods supplied.
Ownership of Goods: Goods remain the property of Direct Channel until paid for in full. We reserve the right to repossess goods or claim proceeds of resale if payment is not made.
Right to Refuse Orders: We retain the right to refuse any order at our discretion. If refused, any payment received will be refunded promptly.
Force Majeure: We are not liable for delays caused by events outside our control (including natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, or shortages). In such cases, we may suspend or cancel contracts without liability.
Insolvency: If the Buyer breaches terms, becomes insolvent, or enters administration, we may suspend deliveries or terminate the contract immediately without liability.
Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
