Washers | Penny, Spring, Square Plate & Round | M6 to M30

We stock a full range of industrial washers for trade and construction, covering metric sizes from M6 to M30. You can choose from BZP, HDG, pre-galvanised, A4 stainless steel (A316), and C8 black finishes, so there is an option for every environment and application. From standard flat washers to heavy-duty plate and spring types, we have what you need.

Types Available

  • Penny Washers have a large outer diameter, making them ideal for spreading load across soft or uneven surfaces.
  • Square Plate Washers work well in strut channel assemblies and structural steelwork connections.
  • Spring Washers grip under vibration and dynamic loads, so fasteners stay tight over time.
  • Round Washers come in Form A, B and E profiles and cover general-purpose use up to M30.
  • Top Hat Washers suit applications where you need load distribution with a raised collar.
  • Central Hanging Plates are designed for trapeze and cable basket suspension systems.

Which Finish Do You Need?

For indoor and sheltered use, BZP is the right choice. If the fixing is going outside or into a damp environment, HDG gives you much better protection. For coastal, marine, or chemically exposed locations, A4 stainless steel (A316) is the strongest option. Finally, C8 black works well where appearance matters, such as in architectural or decorative settings.

All washers work with our hex head set screws, threaded nuts, channel nuts, and threaded rod. Need help choosing the right one? Call 0121 270 8507 or email sales@directchannel.uk.com.
