Dear Customer,

If you are based in the Midlands, we can potentially deliver your order via our own vehicles (minimum spend applies depending on the distance). Alternatively, you can collect your order from our West Midlands Warehouse in Tipton.

For all online orders, we aim to dispatch all orders on the same day (cut-off time is 3:00 PM) to reach you on our Standard 1-3 working days service.

Delivery Charges:

  • Under 1.2 Metre Lengths:
    Base Cost: £6.95 for up to 20 kg
    Additional Cost: £0.35 per kg over 20 kg
  • 1.2 Metre to 1.6 Metre Lengths:
    Base Cost: £10.15 for up to 20 kg
    Additional Cost: £0.35 per kg over 20 kg
  • 1.6 Metre to 2.0 Metre Lengths:
    Base Cost: £15.00 for up to 20 kg
    Additional Cost: £0.50 per kg over 20 kg
  • Above 2.0 Metre Lengths:
    Base Cost: £15.00 for up to 20 kg
    Additional Cost: £0.50 per kg over 20 kg

Please ensure your net order value (excluding VAT and carriage) is above £40 if your order contains lengths of 1.2 metres or more to avoid a surcharge of £10 on top of the normal delivery price for orders below £40 net. Increase the total net value of your basket by adding more items to avoid this surcharge.

Important Notes:

  • If your order is received short or damaged, you must notify the driver and ensure it is updated on the courier portal. Additionally, notify us within 24 hours of receipt. Failure to do so may result in your courier claim being voided or rejected.
  • Onsite Deliveries: Direct Channel cannot be held accountable for goods signed off on building sites that later cannot be found. This responsibility lies with the customer.
  • If your order is dispatched by a palletized courier company, a forklift must be on site to retrieve the pallet from the truck. Failure to have a forklift on site may result in redelivery charges, which will be passed on to the customer. Please call us if you have any questions whether your order will be dispatched by a palletized courier company.

If the courier charges on particularly large orders seem high, please contact us at 0121 270 8507 or email orders@directchannel.uk.com. We may be able to send your order in one of our own vehicles or via a palletized system, saving you money. Alternatively, you can arrange to collect your order from our West Midlands Warehouse in Tipton.
